AI music monetization checklist: from finished song to first payout
This is the short operational version of the whole Rythero monetization cluster. Use it when a song is finished and you want to move from “I made this” to “this is released, managed and capable of earning.”

Do the steps in order. Skipping artist profiles, rights checks or promotion does not make distribution faster; it usually creates problems later.
Before upload
- Confirm commercial-use rights
- Confirm lyrics, samples, voices and artwork are cleared
- Save proof of subscriptions and licenses
- Choose a distributor that accepts your type of AI content
- Prepare final audio, cover and metadata
Before release day
- Set a release date with enough lead time
- Get the Spotify artist URI/link from the distributor when available
- Claim or request Spotify for Artists
- Prepare Apple Music for Artists and Amazon Music for Artists claims
- Prepare vertical content and release links
- Pitch the unreleased track in Spotify for Artists if eligible
After release
- Verify every platform profile
- Check credits, artwork and correct artist mapping
- Use the official sound on social platforms where delivered
- Request or work toward YouTube Official Artist Channel
- Watch analytics for real audience signals
- Avoid any service promising guaranteed streams or playlists
When money begins to arrive
- Read the distributor statement, not only stream counts
- Separate recording and publishing income
- Track fees and splits
- Save invoices and payout reports
- Reinvest only in actions you can measure
